International Hedge Fund is actively seeking a Compliance Coordinator for their New York office. This firm is looking for somebody experienced and knowledgeable in the field, with strong communication skills and multi-tasking ability. Responsibilities will involve tracking proper filing procedures, monitoring account activity, and reviewing correspondence. This is a great opportunity to join forces with a multi-national corporate firm.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
2+ years of compliance experience in Financial Industry
Experience working for an Investment Advisor reviewing mail and trade blotters
Must be knowledgeable with laws and regulations surrounding investment advisors
Possess working understanding of the regulations of the IRS, Security Exchange Commission and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)
Well-versed with federal laws, state laws, and common compliance practices of finance companies
Articulate communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
High sense of intuition and critical thinker
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize by importance
