In 2011 we started a FINRA registered broker dealer was formed to combine the best our firm has to offer with intelligent execution services.

Position Description

The Sales Executive based in New York plays a key role in expanding the firm's customer base. The position is focused on the direct sale of the firm's tools and hosting services for real-time and historical data sets as well as brokerage execution services within the equity and equity derivatives market place.

Responsibilities

Aggressively build the firm's customer base and actively prospect for new brokerage accounts
Actively prospect enterprise data service deals
Continually engage and manage key client relationships
Maintain and manage sales pipeline to ensure sales quotas are achieved utilizing Salesforce.com to track prospects and progress
Represent the firm at local industry events and trade shows
Interface with internal functional teams to ensure our suite of products continue to fill the needs of our customers
Create and support the development of sales collateral and literature
Generate and maintain sales forecasts and reports

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required
Existing book of clients preferred but not required for the right person
FINRA Series 7,63 required (we will not entertain candidates that are not licensed)
Strong knowledge of equity derivatives required
5 or more years experience in a direct sales role within a front office data vendor or within an equity derivatives trading firm (strongly preferred)
3 years minimum relationship management customer service experience within the equity derivative industry (strongly preferred)
Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas
Deep understanding of account and relationship management procedures and processes
Comfortable in providing presentations, demonstrations, and training to option traders, IT staff, administrators, and Sr. level management
High level of organization and time management
Ability to work independently or in a team within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Strategic thinking and understanding of firm's and client's overall business goals and objectives
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
