POSITION SUMMARY
A leading regional bank located in northern New Jersey seeks a top-flight portfolio manager to round out their leadership team. This manager is responsible for the performance and analysis of various domestic and international equity strategies. This individual will be up to date on all economic trends pertaining to all facets of equity investing. The portfolio manager will work with both existing and potential clients in a variety of market segments. Lastly, this portfolio manager will collaborate with the research team to produce research reports as well as communicating recommendations to high net worth clients.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the day-to-day activities of the firm's equity portfolio as it pertains to its clients
* Develop a network of information sources as well as financial models to generate insight
* Monitor the bank's asset allocation models that will be constructed by Management Team
* Coach and educate all employees on various economic trends
* Meet with clients and attend industry conferences
* Support and drive strategic new business goals for the wealth management group
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
* 5 to 10 years of buy-side experience
* Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field
* Master's in business or CFA is preferred
* Proven presentation and communication skills
* Entrepreneurial, highly self-motivated and detail-oriented
